At this point in the summer the majority of classic Hamptons venues have played host to plenty of sunset cocktails and dinner parties, so as guests made their way past horse stables and tennis courts to one of the Wölffer family private homes, the scenery felt like a welcomed discovery.
The house, which belongs to Marc Wölffer, was the site of a dinner held by the winery and Brunello Cucinelli to mark the summer season.
Joey Wölffer, who is the chief brand officer and co-owner of Wölffer Estate Vineyard, said that earlier in the year she listed out a dream brand she’d love to host an event with and Brunello was the name that came to mind.
“They’re a family owned brand, they have a really strong sense of authenticity and I think that’s something that’s really important when you’re looking to do these events,” Wölffer said prior to the dinner.

Upon walking in, guests stopped in front of one of the home’s many large white hydrangea bushes for a photo op. Zoe saddled up to Delfina Figueras for a photo, before noticing their height difference.
“Do you have an apple box?” she asked the photographer.
Once armed with a glass of sangria or sparkling rosé, the beige-clad crowd mingled around the pool house, where Brunello Cucinelli home decor was artfully arranged.
The night marked the first Hamptons visit for Alessio Piastrelli, Mr. Cucinelli’s son-in-law, who was in attendance on behalf of the family.
“I hope we impress you. It always looks like this,” Wölffer joked to Piastrelli, motioning to the perfectly temperate summer evening unfolding around her.
As an Italian antipasto course of marinated artichokes, fried sage leaves, olives and cured meats were passed around the long table, Caronna stood to address the crowd.
“Life is about synchronicity, life is about connecting, and life is about love and happiness, and that’s what we are tonight,” he said. “Celebrate life, celebrate health, and all the good things coming towards us.”
