Behind the Scenes with Role Model at the Troubadour
First time on the Troubadour stage. “We’ll call this a pre show stretch I suppose.”
First time on the Troubadour stage. “We’ll call this a pre show stretch I suppose.”
Soundcheck. “Pretending to know how to play guitar on stage now.”
Backstage with Lizzy McAlpine. “LOOK AT THAT WOMAN”
Getting in the zone. “I mean, I look like I’m listening to Ty Dolla $ign, but I think it was The War on Drugs.”
Tucker and team. “They were probably telling me to stop introducing myself as Shawn Mendes.”
The band. “I love my band so much, I think it’s rare for artists to have any sort of bond with their band, but we have been through it together and gotten very close. I love these boys.”
Walking out. “First time at the Troubadour and first show in over a year, so I was a little nervous walkin out to be honest.”
Good to be back. “Performing these songs live for the first time was something else.”
No place like the Troubadour. “How they knew all the words to the new album in a matter of 4 days is beyond me, I love them.”
Time to celebrate. “I sort of blacked out for the first three songs, but once I became present and took my in-ears out to hear everyone singing it made me want to cry. I missed their voices more than anything and I can’t wait to hear them alllllll year long.”
