LONDON — Those celebrating American Express presents BST Hyde Park, a music festival featuring headliners including SZA, Kings of Leon, and Stevie Nicks, can now add receiving their very own affirmation to their itinerary.
Affirmation expert Giselle La Pompe-Moore is bringing a touch of spirituality to the festival, allowing guests to identify with a festival persona and helping them manifest the best weekend possible.
“When we think about affirmations, we often think that they’re only about the future and repeating the things that we want to have,” said La Pompe-Moore in an interview.

“They can be about this, but in the past when I worked one-to-one with people, I realized that affirmations can be a helpful way to clarify how you want to experience your time right here and now and what you want to grow into,” she added.
American Express’ partnership with La Pompe-Moore wasn’t just based on vibes. The company referenced a 2024 Opinium study, which found that 69 percent of the 2,000 Gen Z U.K. respondents engage in manifestation practices.
Based on her past experiences with festivals, the affirmation aficionado developed three personas.
“The Adventurer” is the life of the party and an expert in sniffing out a good time; unafraid to venture off on their own; “The Believer” is utterly fearless when it comes to seeing their favorite artist, and the third, “The Optimist,” is about viewing experiences in a positive light and sharing an optimistic aura with those around them.
“I created these personas to encourage people to have an amazing time at the festival by stepping into all of the things that make them who they are,” said the manifestation guru. “Beyond the festival, see how you can bring these personas into your daily life.”
For adventurers, she recommends trying to shake up routines, even if it’s as small as switching up a coffee order. Believers should make time for self care, and optimists will thrive by implementing moments of mindfulness.
