Storied Italian linens firm Frette will open the doors of its new flagship on 806 Madison Avenue in Manhattan on Wednesday.
The company calls the New York City store an “oasis of Italian elegance.” A spokesperson said the flagship reflects the company’s “innovative image with a more modern approach and in a distinguished location.”
With the opening, Frette will introduce its U.S. customers to its new “product agility” service, a shopping experience that allows them to envision beyond seasonal collections and curate individual elements that come together in a multitude of combinations. The service has already been introduced to the European market.
The sprawling space is decorated with luxurious accents, stone floors and pieces, including armchairs designed by famed architect and designer Gio Ponti and lighting by Venetian glassmaker Vistosi and Venetian lighting manufacturer Lodes.
