Giorgio Armani’s traveling summer party came to Malibu, Calif., on Tuesday evening, taking over Little Beach House.
The Soho House members club, with its oceanside views and minimal palette, was a fitting backdrop for the Italian house’s Mare collection — a line of summer-ready, easy linen and lightweight clothing in natural and blue tones — put on display alongside holiday-ready accessories and Armani beauty for a weeklong pop-up.
Guests shared their summer plans while browsing the line, but most were on the airy terrace, where some let loose, dancing and sipping on tequila as the DJ played a soft electronic mix.
“Italian coastal living” is the forever inspiration and brand messaging behind the touring bash, which kicked off last month in Trani, Italy, followed by Porto Cervo in Sardinia and Forte Dei Marmi in Tuscany; Tokyo, and the German island of Sylt. A tropical palm pattern in shades of turquoise made to embody Mare has filled every party space; in Malibu, the motif was on parasols, hanging surfboards and a photo-op backdrop, where VIPs were summoned all night.
